Mike Siegel is an authority on media and communications. He has the knowledge and expertise to provide businesses and consumers with insightful perspective and fact based information that streamlines communication and improves intellectual understanding across all platforms.
Mike Siegel was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1945. He was raised in a working class home where education and achievement were always emphasized. Mike was the first in his immediate family to attend college. He graduated from William Paterson University with a B.A. in Arts in 1966 and then taught for the Newark, NJSchool District. In 1970 he earned a graduate degree in Language Communications from William Paterson. In 1972 Siegel was awarded his PhD in Rhetoric and Communication Theory from the University of Utah, his dissertation focused on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. During his tenure at University of Utah, Mike taught Speech Communication. Upon completion of his Ph.D, Siegel moved to Massachusetts where he taught at Fitchburg State College and Emerson College until 1978.
In 1978 Mike decided to move from the world of intellectual theory to actual practice. He joined WOTW radio in Nashua, New Hampshire as the President and General Manager. While managing WOTW AM and FM, Mike continued to focus on personal enrichment through education. In 1985 he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Nova University’s School of Law. He then went on to pass the Bar in Massachusetts, New York, Florida and the District of Columbia. Mikepracticed law for a couple of years until his passion for radio called him back.
It was during the late 1980’s that Mike made a real name for himself in talk radio hosting prime time slots in Boston, New York, Miami and Seattle. By 2000 Mike was invited to host popular, nationally syndicated radio program Coast-to-Coast after filling in for Art Bell.
Mike has made numerous appearances on a variety of television talk programs including Oprah, The O’Reilly Factor, Politically Incorrect, Geraldo, Fox News Sunday and more.
